Choclate Loaf Cake

                                                              Chocolate Loaf Cake  

                                                       INGREDIENTS

* 2Cup Maida/Wheat Flour

* 1.25 Cup Sugar

* Oil 3/4 Cup

* 1/2cup Buttermilk

* Chocolate Essence 5-6 Drops

* 1/2Cup Cocoa Powder

* 1tsp Coffee 

* 1tsp Baking Powder

* 1/4 tsp Baking Soda

* 1/4 Cup Water

* 1/4 tsp salt

                                                          METHOD

1. Heat the oven to 350 F (180 C). Grease and flour a 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan or spray with a baking spray that includes flour.

2. In a large Bowl Sieve Maida/Wheat Flour, Baking Powder, Baking Soda, Coffee, Cocoa Powder, and Salt mix it well. whisk until fully incorporated.

3. In A Separate bowl whisk sugar, oil, and buttermilk together for 5mins.

4. Mix the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients, and mix until there are no longer any clumps of flour.

5. Also, add Chocolate essence and if required add little water.

6. Transfer batter to a loaf pan and smooth out the top using an angled spatula. Don’t fill the pan all the way, leave at least 1 inch from the rim of the pan so it doesn’t overflow).

7. Bake for 35-40min, or until a toothpick inserted in the centre comes out clean.

8. Allow to cool for 10mins and transfer to a cooling rack.
