SUJI KA HALWA ( SEMOLINA)



INGREDIENTS 


1. 1CUP DRY ROASTED SUJI ( SEMOLINA)

2. RAISIN AND ALMONDS 1/2 CUP CHOPPED

3. 3-4 TSP GHEE 

4. SUGAR 1/2 CUP MORE OR LESS

5. GREEN CARDAMOMS ( COARSELY CRUSHED ) 4 TO 5

6. WATER 2 CUP. 

7. SAFFRON

INSTRUCTIONS 


A. IN A NON-STICK PAN DRY ROAST THE SEMOLINA (SUJI). TILL IT GET LITTLE BROWNISH. REMOVE THE SUJI ( SEMOLINA) FROM THE PAN.


B. IN A NON-STICK PAN ADD GHEE (CLARIFIED BUTTER). THEN ADD ALMONDS AND FRY IT FOR 1-2 MIN.


  C. REMOVE THE ALMONDS IN THE KITCHEN TOWEL. IN THE SAME PAN ADD SUJI (SEMOLINA) STIR IT FOR FEW SECONDS THEN ADD ALMONDS, RAISINS.

         D. MEANWHILE, PREPARE SUGAR SYRUP.                                                                       
                                                                     
       E. NOW ADD SUGAR SYRUP IN THE SEMOLINA (SUJI). IF REQUIRED ADD LITTLE WATER COVER THE PAN WITH THE HELP OF THE LID ON MEDIUM FLAME FOR 5MINUTES. 

    F. SERVE THE HOT AND DELICIOUS SUJI (SEMOLINA) HALWA GARNISH WITH SAFFRON AND SOME ALMONDS
