INGREDIENTS FOR MOONG DAL PAKODA
1. 1 CUP OF SPLIT GREEN MONG DAL.
2. 2 GREEN CHILLIES FINELY CHOPPED.
3. 1/2 TSP ASAFETIDA/ HING
4. 1/2 INCH GINGER
5. 2TSP BESAN { CHICKPEAS FLOUR}
6. OIL FOR FRYING
7. SALT ACCORDING TO TASTE.
METHOD
1. WASH AND SOAK 1 CUP OF SPLIT MOONG DAL FOR 2 TO 3 HOURS.
2. DRAIN AND THEN GRIND THE MOONG DAL AND ALSO ADD 1/2 INCH OF GINGER WHILE GRINDING { MAKE SURE MOOND DAL SHOULD NOT BE GRIND VERY FINE}. YOU CAN USE 2 TSP OF WATER TO GRIND.
3. IN A BIG BOWL ADD GRING MOONG DAL, GREEN CHILI, ASAFETIDA, BESAN, SALT MIX GENTLY.
4. IN A DEEP PAN HEAT THE OIL.
5. NOW DROP THE MIXTURE WITH THE HELP OF THE SPOON.
6. FRY FEW PAKODAS AT ONE SINGLE TIME ON MEDIUM FLAME.
7. LET IT COOK TILL THEY GET GOLDEN BROWN IN COLOUR.
8. DO THE SAME FOR THE REMAINING MOONG DAL BATTER TO MAKE PAKODAS.
9. DRAIN, TRANSFER INTO KITCHEN TOWEL. SERVE HOT!!
